Overall Impressions:
Otokichi is a store in Japan that sells used CD's and Vinyl. The prices are good and they have some less common items that dont show up on Yahoo Auction or Mercari. The interface is very primitive, so expect the process to take several days. Shipping to the United States was not an issue and the shipping price was similar with other stores I use.
Using the store:
When browsing the store, items get added to a cart. Once finished, the cart is submitted for review. All further communications occur through email.
User Account:
You user account is created when going through checkout. In order to access your account afterwards you have to go through the process of adding an item to your cart and doing checkout and that will give you an option to see your account and make changes, like shipping address.
Shipping & Packaging:
Yamamoto shipping was used, no other choice was provided. Tracking number provided worked internationally (didn't stop tracking once it left Japan). Shipping was quick. Each item was sleeved and bubbled wrapped. But were loose within the box, not taped down as one single unit like Neokyo or Mandarake have done. However each product was very well protected. I had no concerns. The shipping box was also good quality cardboard.
Overall box packaging 12" Vinyl record secured to a piece of cardboard and bubble wrapped 7" EP vinyl taped to backside of same cardboard
