Removing Stickers (Goo Gone)

Post by Mr.V600 »

Stickers can be very tricky. Sometimes they are too old and too dried out to safely remove.

But here is a trick that should be safe to paper and can remove stubborn and dried out stickers.

Apply some Goo Gone to the paper of the sticker. Also apply some to the edges to let the Goo Gone start penetrating the adhesive. If the sticker is paper, then the Goo Gone can soak through the top, but if the sticker is more of a plastic material, then it may be impenetrable.

A Q-Tip is good to use since it can soak up liquid like a sponge or towel. This lets you soak the sticker without risk of spilling.

Celebrate when the sticker is finally removed. Can use glass cleaner on a paper towel or use lens wipes to remove any residual Goo Gone.
